About WOOSH

WOOSH is a 100% Indigenous-owned and Supply Nation registered company leading the charge in clean energy innovation. Our mission is to deliver practical, high-performance solutions that directly address the global challenge of climate change.

With over 40 years of collective experience in engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance, WOOSH provides turnkey wind and hydro turbine systems for a wide range of applications. Our work has already attracted the attention of global partners across engineering, energy, and investment sectors.

Our Technology

At the heart of WOOSH is groundbreaking technology developed by our CEO and co-founder, Aboriginal engineer and inventor Chris Moore. Chris has designed the Contra Rotating Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (CRVAWT) and the revolutionary Farste Drive Toroid PCB Radax Electric Motor/Generator.

These innovations offer:

Our CRVAWTs start at low wind speeds, operate silently, and can be installed in areas unsuitable for traditional turbines or solar, including rooftops, light poles, and remote sites with poor soil conditions.

Our design can also be applied to hydro turbines using a similar structure which would generate power from water flow – making the turbine a Contra Rotating Vertical Axis Hydro Turbine (CRVAHT).

Why WOOSH is Different

Our patented designs allow compact, efficient, and low-maintenance installations that deliver consistent power even in turbulent wind conditions. Compared to solar, our systems offer:

By combining Indigenous ingenuity with cutting-edge science – developed in partnership with CSIRO – WOOSH is setting a new standard in clean energy for communities, cities, and industries across Australia and beyond.

Acknowledgment of Country

WOOSH acknowledges Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises their continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. We pay respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past and present; and recognise their ongoing cultures and traditions.

It is important to note for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people that this website may contain images or names of people who have since passed away.
